The Handwriting Without Tears Kindergarten program is designed to be intuitive, engaging, and developmentally progressive with children actively participating through movement, talking, and singing. Kick Start Kindergarten bridges the gap between PreK and K with developmental, multisensory handwriting instruction. Capital and lowercase letters are introduced through tracing and early writing exercises. Lessons also provide instruction on posture and grip, numbers, and capital and lower case letters in words and sentences. Lessons are easy-to-use and includes an objective, a lesson introduction, the student workbook page number, reduced-size student pages, and a detailed lesson plan with enrichment, support/ELL notes, and cross-curricular connections at the bottom.
