This book is absolutely amazing. I am teaching it in a small group setting in my church now. I have bought extra copies just to give away to people. It is applicable to all relationships in your life. Don't miss this information. Danny has a gift from God how to approach relationship issues in a graceful and loving way and how to explain it in such plain language that everyone can understand. It gives hope and so much encouragement if you have trouble in any of your relationships (and who doesn't?) and it gives practical ideas on how to change ourselves and improve our interactions with others. A life changer!

I grew up in a family that did not speak to one another kindly. If you ask something as simple as "please pass ___" the response would be "why dont you get it yourself you lazy bumb." So when i got out into the real world I wanted to begin learning new communication skills as mine were very rough. So far this book is the best one I have read! It goes over the foundations for good and bad relationships and covers many different types of relationships which makes this book applicable for married, or single of any age and gender. It has helped me so much. it is definitely a must read and a must do.

This book has been so good in helping to identify how to be better connected with people as well as how to establish boundaries. Solid teaching. Excellent for either independent or small group study.

This book will renew your mind and challenge your notions as to what it means to love and be loved as well as to love like Jesus. Expect that your relationships will be empowered to grow and change, with greater connection and deeper understanding.

It's a really good book, but I thought it would of been more God centered. The topics are great but I would of like more verses of the bible to associate the principles to God view. Personally, I think he insists a little to much on the human capacity. Not denying that we don't have any capacity of, but we can because of Christ, and that's where, I think, M.Silk have missed somewhere. It's when we are weak, that Christ is strong in us. He should have insists more on that.

However, I like how he puts some key sentences to help us remember simply what he's teaching.
