    Rev. John D. White
One of the better, newer, introductions to Karl Barth and his work. Mangina is to be congratulated on his introduction, because it has, through its clarity of thought, and command of the subject matter, become a standard on introducing Barth and his theology, for the interested reader. It supersedes some older works, and leaves the reader pondering some of Mangina's helpful comments. A must read for anyone interested in Karl Barth and his theology. Along with the introductions by Eberhard Busch and John Webster, Mangina as produced a nice expose.
