Publisher's Description

The word Kaleidoscope derives from the Greek word (kalos), which means beautiful. As a child I loved kaleidoscopes. Each time you turn the tube the beads of glass would form different shapes and patterns, one more beautiful than the other. Writing this book, it reminded me of how life is. Take Ms. Ellie, who reaches out to help a young widow, not knowing the depth of pain this family faces. Ms. Ellie must face even her own dark secret. "Harold Winslow" begins with a car crash, the same day his mom and sister dies, but then there is the remarkable witness. In "The Visitor" Mildred Stark is a lonely widow with a son she never sees. Her life is interrupted by two strangers and a baby, unfolding the feelings she had long buried. "Crossing Over": When a man's wife-whom you killed-keeps visiting you, how do you take this second chance, when crime is all you've known? "Remy": Remy's man won her in a card game. What happens when you get sick of being abused? Where do you run to? Each story has its own twist and turn. As you read each story let the words take shape...

Tell us a little about yourself.  I'm a wife minister, navigating through this journey called life, Married to a wonderful man named Robert, I am a mother of 2 sons Terrance and James,
the proud Grandmother of 2 awesome smart and talented grandchildren, Semaj and Ethan. I attend an AWESOME Church, called Cross City,

What was your motivation behind this project?  This project has been in the works for a couple of years, I would start stop forgot about it until one night the Lord said you never finish what you started, so that prompted me to get up and completed the task at hand.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  Life has many twist and turns some good and some bad some things will drop you to your knees, it is during those time when we can always turn to the God who created you, faith is the key But Prayer unlocks the door.....

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I saw myself as being lost, frustrated with life due to personal losses setbacks loss of friendships, but through it all i had one person who struck closer than a brother and that was Jesus Christ, even though weeping endured for a night my joy came in the morning light, He gave me Beauty for Ashes
