Tell us a little about yourself. Dr. Phyllis Davis is a retired psychologist and Rev. Carrol Davis is a retired minister. They are called to take the message of "Journey of the Soul...Cracked Pots and Broken Vessels...Live the Victorious Life Christ Died to Give You," along with the workbook, "Stop the Violence...Seven Stages to Sanctify...Claim the Promises of Christ," to the church. The discipleship tools take the reader on a journey to resolve issues that threaten to destroy individuals, family, and the community: addictions, anger, abuse, to name a few of the issues addressed.
What was your motivation behind this project? Expansion of Dr. Davis's doctoral studies and a walk with the Master, the discipleship tools take readers on a step by step process to resolve their issues. The model came in revelation to Dr. Davis as she worked to resolve her own issues from a dysfunctional family system. Later Dr. Davis was called to take the message to the church.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? We hope that the power of the risen Christ will be come evident in the believer's life as we obey the commands of our Savior and walk in obedience to His word applying it to our daily lives, problems, and issues.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? We do lectures, speaking engagements, and workshops to teach these principles to the church, Christian leaders, businesses, and organizations.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Our Christian sponsors, leaders, and prayer partners. We are inspired, equipped, and called of God to this ministry. We are the "mobile church" taking the message to all that can benefit from the message.
