Discover your story, learn how to tell it, and watch God perform miracles in your life as you fall more in love with your Abba Father.
God uses cracked pots and broken vessels to tell His story: “And they overcame R30; by the power of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony R30;” Revelation 12:11 KJV.
God doesn’t waste anything or anyone. He takes the scars and pain of your life and turns you into the vessel of His glory you were created to be. Nothing surprises God. He has a plan to redeem you, save you, and let His light shine through you.
Many Christians walk in bondage for failure to know and follow the Word of God. The Bible is Christ’s love letter to you, an instruction book to guide you through all of life’s difficulties. Who better to direct you through uncertain times than the one who knows of the best plans for your life? Yet Christ says his people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
God’s Word rightly applied to the strongholds in your life can help you live the abundant life Christ died to give you and set the captives free. It is not just a matter of salvation, but rather growth in Christ—the sanctification process—that leads you to the rich and abundant life Christ died to give you.
What is your testimony? It isn’t just your story of salvation. Tell of your journey and how the Lord allowed the Scriptures to come alive in your life. Tell of the living Jesus.

Victorious Life Christ Died to Give You
by Dr. Phyllis Davis and Rev. Carrol Davis
Publ: WestBow Press c.2014
Dr, Phyllis Davis and Rev. Carrol Davis have offered to the world a look at what it takes to reach the place we should be in Christ. They present a step-by-step guide to help you proceed to that place. Their point is that salvation is a one time event where you invite God to be the Lord and your life, while sanctification is an on-going process where you invite the Holy Spirit to change you in any area of your life that does not look like your Savior.
Using the anacranym SANCTIFY, they describe the process of sanctification. Each step of the process is explained in detail. Scripture is used to support each assertion made. They encourage the reader as he progresses through the process through examples from their lives and the lives of others.
The Davises open their own lives up to public scrutiny as an example of how far God can take you if you are willing to submit to the sanctification process led by the Holy Spirit. Their openness gives the reader the courage to begin the process to become what God knows he can be.
They dont pretend that the process will be easy or pain-free. The promise is there that it will be worth it. The promise is made by God not the Davises.
Is this an easy fluffy book to read? No. Is this a book that will help you grow if its precepts are followed? Yes. Is it worth the time and effort to read and apply? Absolutely.

Tell us a little about yourself. Dr. Phyllis Davis is a retired psychologist and Rev. Carrol Davis is a retired minister. They are called to take the message of "Journey of the Soul...Cracked Pots and Broken Vessels...Live the Victorious Life Christ Died to Give You," along with the workbook, "Stop the Violence...Seven Stages to Sanctify...Claim the Promises of Christ," to the church. The discipleship tools take the reader on a journey to resolve issues that threaten to destroy individuals, family, and the community: addictions, anger, abuse, to name a few of the issues addressed.
What was your motivation behind this project? Expansion of Dr. Davis's doctoral studies and a walk with the Master, the discipleship tools take readers on a step by step process to resolve their issues. The model came in revelation to Dr. Davis as she worked to resolve her own issues from a dysfunctional family system. Later Dr. Davis was called to take the message to the church.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? We hope that the power of the risen Christ will be come evident in the believer's life as we obey the commands of our Savior and walk in obedience to His word applying it to our daily lives, problems, and issues.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? We do lectures, speaking engagements, and workshops to teach these principles to the church, Christian leaders, businesses, and organizations.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Our Christian sponsors, leaders, and prayer partners. We are inspired, equipped, and called of God to this ministry. We are the "mobile church" taking the message to all that can benefit from the message.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Read the reviews on all the web sites. The people taking our classes and reading our books have a lot to say about their experiences.
