Caitlin5 Stars Out Of 5Perfect for so many!April 5, 2017CaitlinQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I read this book as a skeptic. I didn't grow up in church. I didn't attend a church service until I was 24, unmarried, and pregnant with my third child. I had a lot of doubt in God. I got this book and a few others by Mr. Strobel at the recommendation of the owner of my local Christian bookstore, when I came in to purchase my first Bible. That transaction literally changed my life. All the huge roadblocks that had kept me away from Christianity were addressed eloquently in this book. I've bought several copies for friends who aren't believers and have given away personal copies and bought new because THAT'S how important I find this book. It can convert people. I feel it's still valuable for longtime belivers because it can be an amazing tool for helping talk to nonbelievers. You can never know too much about your faith! Absolutely buy, you will not regret!!!

Beth SnyderLightstreet, PAAge: 45-54Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Well-thought out bookJuly 13, 2016Beth SnyderLightstreet, PAAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I used this book in conjunction with the study by the same name for adult Sunday School.
By itself, the book looks into some tough questions, and provides food for thought and ways to address these concerns when non-Christians ask us for answers.
The book doesn't exactly follow the study, but the study does suggest using the book as a resource. It was helpful to use for additional thoughts and discussion. I intend to look into some of Lee Strobel's other studies since this one was well-organized and well-received by the Sunday School class.
