Utilizing this medium you will be able to identify specific accomplishment and support gained while documenting the journey through however many days you choose to fast. There are daily scriptures and encouragements included to motivate and support you throughout the fast. Some of the scriptures have been paraphrased to focus on specific points of encouragement. Being intentional about journaling will help you in looking for "God moments" daily. The journal gives you the option to focus on only three days, seven days, twenty-one days with a pause, or an entire forty-day fast. Each days journaling will hopefully support the manifestation of the reason you are fasting and help to create a memorial of the grace and insights experienced.

Francis, LPC, CPCS, CGP*, owns The Heart Matters Wellness Services LLC, a full-service mental health counseling agency that offers Professional Development workshops to help individuals learn, earn, and keep their credentials. She provides seminars on mental health, ethical, and self-care issues to her community. Cheryl is a Certified Grief Professional who is Trauma Focused-CBT trained and works from a CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) approach, offering compassionate mental health care to individuals dealing with anxiety, grief, and trauma. She supports individuals in identifying and removing barriers that keep them from achieving their personal and professional goals. Cheryl hosts a monthly wellness group for mental health professionals.
Cheryl's commitment to mental health inspired her to establish Rebounding With A Purpose (RWAP), a 501C-3 organization dedicated to providing mental health care and resources to the underserved. Cheryl serves as Vice-Chair on the CORE (Community Organizing Resources for Excellence) board, where she advocates for mental health care within the West Georgia Communities. In 2017, Cheryl collaborated with CORE to launch Douglas County's Mental Health initiative, which offered free mental health care to Douglas County's citizens. She leads a monthly therapeutic wellness group for Douglas County Senior Service on behalf of CORE. She is a published author and a public and motivational speaker, aiming to inspire those who seek to improve their thinking and quality of life.
