Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  Hello, I have loved writing all of my life. I wrote a lot of poetry in my youth and early twenties. Cats are my passion, and are very much a part of my everyday life.

What was your motivation behind this project?  My motivation for this little book was sharing the joy and love that a cat can bring to your life, especially at Christmas.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope the take away from this project for folks who read the book, is God's love for all of his animals that he created. i also love the message this book shares for all who read it from 2 to 92!

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  The cat in this book was my personal beloved pet, and sharing his personal love through my illustrations in the story, and by the story itself was a true gift.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  i particularly love "Peef, The Magic Christmas Bear", "The Nativity Story", and "The Little Drummer Boy". i love folklore type artistry, colorful and child like illustrations!

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  i love that this little book combines a wonderfule tale about a young cat and his family with the magic of the nativity story, and i hope my readers love it too.
