Joni - An Unforgettable Story - is an inspirational autobiography of Joni Eareckson Tada - Christian artist, speaker, wife, friend, sister - who happens to be a paraplegic who has been in a wheelchair for half a century. But that isnt the most important thing about Joni. The most important thing is her faith, perseverancen and allowing herself to be used by God to touch peoples lives with her story, from the day of the diving accident to 1975, with updates at the end of the book. Highly recommended.

I'm appreciative that this autobiography is still available in print, now with an updated cover. Joni's story carries the full message of God's sovereignty, even in the hardest points of our lives. He uses all things for His glory and our good, and Joni's story exemplifies how God changed her life for Him as a result of her diving accident and lifelong paralysis. And as a result, only God knows the thousands of lives she has impacted with her story, with her life, and with her love for God.

This is a very good biography of a woman who faced struggles that many of us will not face. I have bought many of these books to give to those that I felt needed it most to inlcude those who are going through adjusting to a disability or debilitating disease. I am buying more now for that purpose, maybe I should buy in bulk! This book and others by Joni is well worth buying.

This book is amazing. Joni reveals in detail what it felt like to have her physical abilities stripped away, and how God used it to transform her life for Him. I have already given away several copies to friends. Thank you Joni for sharing your most personal part of your life. It has impacted me greatly. 5 stars.
