Here I Am: Joining God's Adventurous Call to Love the World

’Andy is a man possessed with the living spirit of prophetic fiery imagination. He can literally see the world made new. What I love most about Andy is in the pages of this book. He is not content to think great thoughts or have wonderful redemptive theology, or

even rest on the exploits he has already done. Andy has a fresh vision for today, and it’s full of fire. This man has invested his entire life to the redemption of the world and is about to increase the pace. For those of us who are amazed just watching him, he remains a living inspiration and invitation to get on with the work Jesus started. God’s kingdom come!’

 

’I vividly remember Andy’s role in Festival: Manchester in 2003. Andy and I worked closely to cast the vision of the festival, unite the Church around evangelism, and proclaim the good news boldly. At the launch of the festival—after a rich time of worship and prayer—I remember Andy saying to the crowd: "Did you feel Manchester tremble?" I was stirred by the comment, and it has stuck with me all these years. It seemed to clearly express Andy’s vision, passion, and enthusiasm, as well as his deep sensitivity to the things of God.
