After his baptism in the Holy Spirit the supernatural was the norm in his spiritual life. His story inspires greater faith.
Sharon KoylFlorida5 Stars Out Of 5August 28, 2010Sharon KoylFloridaWe always enjoy reading about "God's Generals...a little slow in the beginning but good, his sermons are awesome...we are such "weak" Christians...what an encouragement...inspires you to really live for Christ
Bryan Purtle5 Stars Out Of 5December 6, 2007Bryan PurtleWhat a gem! I read through the 1,000+ pages of this volume over the period of 1 week in the year 1999. Lake was arguably the man most intimate with God and experienced in Holy Spirit power in the 20th century. His view toward the medical world is more applicable to his generation than to ours, but no one can argue the profundity of faith and compassion that he had for the sick and diseased. No biographically documented man in the 20th century saw more miracles and works of Spirit power than John G. Lake. Such a man should be read by our unbelieving Christian generation.
Jake Morgason5 Stars Out Of 5October 23, 2007Jake MorgasonI don't agree with all Lake's teaching. Yet he was a powerful man of God and he should be studied !
