Tell us a little about yourself. I have earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Southeastern Louisiana and currently working on a degree in Biblical Studies from Grace College of Divinity. I am employed as curriculum coordinator by a large church in Mandeville, Louisiana that disciples around 1,000 children each weekend ranging from ages 18 months to fifth grade. I have volunteered in Children's Ministry for over nine years.
What was your motivation behind this project? My passion to teach children that no matter how tough their life is, they can be sure of Jesus' love to ease their sorrows, fears, anger, pain, hurt, sickness, loneliness or rejection.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? This book was inspired by God to tell children that God's word is still relevant in today's culture, just as it has been from the beginning of time. As children are reading this book, they will learn that God wants to be in their everyday life and wants to have a relationship with them.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Learning and creating ways to teach children about the Bible, godly relationships and the Hoy Spirit.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My favorite Christian author is C.S. Lewis
