Publisher's Description

Jobella Jordan lived an idyllic life, living in an upscale area of Clairmonte, North Carolina. She was getting ready to graduate from high school and enter college in the fall and then marry the man of her dreams a year later. All at once, her world came crashing down around her, and she lost everything. Will her faith in God and her friends help her to rise above her trials, or will she let her sorrow and depression destroy her along with the rest of her family?

This is a good story and concept, however there are multiple grammatical and spelling errors throughout that make it difficult to read. I am surprised it made it to publication with so many errors, many that my 8 year old niece could correct. I would encourage the author and publisher to have someone proofread in the future, it really ruins the story when there are so many errors. The language is also unnaturally formal at times, when characters are speaking to each other, phrases like, "I would like to..." rather than "I'd like to..." which is how people usually speak in conversation. While the story is good, the errors and unnecessarily formal language detract from the storyline and make this book difficult to read. Although I want to know what happens in the end, I may not be able to finish it due to the multiple errors. I would not buy any more books by this author unless I knew for sure the grammatical and spelling errors had been corrected.
