Publisher's Description

One of the great tragedies of our time is the lack of understanding on the part of many Christian leaders regarding the roots of the Christian faith and how this affects one's understanding of theology. Because of this lack of understanding the church has fallen into many heresies down through the centuries. Among other things, it has affected how we view our responsibilities for world evangelization. This book has been written to help the reader understand the roots of our faith in Old Testament Judaism and the effect that understanding has on Christian theology. KENNETH G. SYMES, B.A., S.T.M. was a pastor in Baltimore, MD for almost twenty years before God called him into Jewish ministries in 1977. While in Baltimore he cut his teeth in Evangelism preaching on the streets of East Baltimore. For the past thirty years, while himself effectively reaching Jewish people with the Gospel, Ken has worked with local churches to enable them to effectively reach out with the gospel to both Jew and Gentile. This book is the product of his deep love for Jewish people and his commitment to the belief that God ordained only one institution to evangelize His world, the Local Church. After serving almost eleven years as the Executive Director of Jewish Awareness Ministires, Inc., Ken is now the National Field Representative for J.A.M. Inc living in Asheboro, NC with his wife Joyce.
