Tell us a little about yourself.  Author, Nancy Gemaehlich, has a passion to equip and encourage women in the Scriptures. She works alongside her husband, Bill Gemaehlich, as a pastor's wife and is the Director of Women's Ministries at Calvary Chapel Honey Creek in Weston, Texas. Nancy earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education with an emphasis in Ministry with Women from Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas, Texas. Though a third generation Californian, she now resides in rural Weston, Texas with her husband and a gaggle of chickens. Teaching has always been at the forefront of her life, originally as a professional horse trainer and now as a Bible study teacher. She is a mom and a Nana to two adorable grandchildren.

What was your motivation behind this project?  My motivation behind writing Come Lord Jesus: A Woman's Walk - "Spirit, Body & Soul.” Through the Book of Revelation was to help women discover that for the Christian, the Book of Revelation is a book of hope. This hope provides us vision for living for the Lord now in light of His return. The Lord's revelation of the end He intends for His people is also an anchor for our soul, helping us to eagerly watch for His coming. The Book of Revelation the Lord's message for His church!

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope that the folks who do this study will be encouraged that the Lord is coming back for His bride, that He will wipe every tear from our eyes and make all things new. I also desire that they will be more focused than ever to live for Christ now in light of His future glory to be revealed. Revelation is a message for us, as His church, to hear and heed.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  As I studied through Revelation, I was personally impacted by the fact that the Book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ for His church, yet so many shy away from it. I was delighted to learn that I could navigate it and allow the Lord's words to impact my life. Not everything in Revelation is easy to understand, however I learned that there is so much that we can know and need to know from this message.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  One of my biggest influences is studying the Bible line by line, book by book on Sunday mornings at church. Another great influence for me is being a part of weekly women's Bible study where we develop our skills of learning how to dig into God's Word for ourselves. When we gather, we share what the Lord has shown us and learn a great deal from each other. Lastly, having the opportunity to go to Dallas Theological Seminary was an amazing experience for me. I learned from some great scholars and was able to focus on growing in God through His Word and fellowship.
