Life is an enigma prompting more questions than answers. I have, however, discovered one thing. Oftentimes we get the wrong answer because we ask the wrong question. Instead of asking God, "What's Your will for my life?" We should be asking, "What is Your will... period?" We tend to think that life revolves around us... our wants, our desires, our dreams. It doesn't. We live and exist for God's purpose and pleasure. When we start asking the right questions and truly desiring His answers, then we will find the things for which our heart truly longs... love, joy, peace, hope, etc. We fulfill our destiny not by having all our questions answered, but by making Jesus our Final Answer for every question life throws our way. The pre-eminent question is this. "Will you make Him your Final Answer?" Kenny Ashley is the Minister of Discipleship and Teaching at River Hills Community Church in Lake Wylie, SC.
