It is actually a good size for him to hold, and we are very happy with this purchase. It looks like the picture and is very soft. The music is soft, but in his quiet nursery it is fine. When the bear is seated he is 7 inches, and when you lay him out head to toe he is about 10 inches, but he is made to be a sitting bear.
