Love the version of this book!!! The cover is a soft imitation leather, print is large to easily read, silk ribbon bookmark, every bible verse is included after the devotion (no more having to look up the verse in your bible) - everything is provided right at your fingertips. Covers 365 daily devotions that can be read in 10-15 minutes daily.
I would recommend this if you are fan of Sarah Young, she will not let you down. I would also recommend this to anyone of all ages. This devotion is easy to understand and is very uplifting and inspirational for daily living with GOD.

Author Sarah Young has been both popularized and criticized for her writings over the past few years. This devotional will not change the minds of those who do either of those things. If you have loved reading the previous works of the author, you will love this devotional. If you have criticized her previous works, you will not like this devotional because she takes the same approach as with the popular devotional bible which bears her work.
Personally, I like the author's approach sharing Scripture as if it were God speaking directly to me (the reader). My personal relationship to God is energized when I truly read the Bible as if God is speaking directly to me. I do not believe, as some have suggested, the author is putting words in God's mouth. She has shown us a beautiful way in which we can read the Bible and realize God is speaking to each one of us.
The devotional presented there is a wonderfully crafted devotional with faux tooled leather cover (it isn't leather, but that is the best way I could describe it), a larger sized font and a ribbon marker. This is a perpetual devotional, which give a devotional per day, and can be used repeatedly without causing confusion.
The writings are thought provoking and encouraging. Scriptures are included on each day's devotional correlating to the thought for the day. All in all an uplifting devotional which is wonderfully crafted both verbally and physically.
I received a free copy of this devotional from BookLook Bloggers for a review. The review was not required to be positive and all thoughts are my own.
Jesus Always is the new Jesus Calling. I have used Jesus Calling at every age level (since it is also in many children's versions). I am now using Jesus Always in the same way. I love how Sarah Young's devotions, (inspired by what God was teaching and revealing to her), is written as if Jesus were speaking to each of us (rather than speaking about Jesus). Each devotion in Jesus Always is also Biblically-based. I usually start out by reading the Bible verses for that day FIRST and asking, "What does that verse say about God." and "What does that verse say about man (me or you?") Then after some reflection or a brief discussion (if using in a group), will then read the devotion. Have used this format with young children, teens and adults. Jesus Always is as rich as Jesus Calling. I am now hoping for the children's versions of Jesus Always to be published soon.
This is the best devotional book I have ever used---and in my opinion, the best even of Sarah Young's books. The thoughts are taken directly from Scripture and the Scripture references are listed on each page.
