Excerpt from It's a Jumble Out There I can't figure it out-not for the life of me. Every time I tell my mom that I can't get the black spot off her living room wall no matter how hard I try, she answers, "Just use a little more elbow grease." First of all, I don't have any grease on my elbow. That is actually insulting, even to a nine-year-old. Second, how in the world will grease help in removing a black spot? If elbow grease is that good, wouldn't they be advertising it on TV? Yeah, I can see it: Elbow Grease in a Jar. For cryin' out loud, wouldn't I have read about it in my third-grade science book? Combining his love for God's Word, moments from his youth while growing up with eight brothers and sisters in the 1960s and 1970s, and a desire for people to see Christ in their everyday lives, Tim uses a lively sense of humor to create fifty plus short devotional stories for the whole family to enjoy.
