Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a born again Jew and have lived in Tiberias with my wife, Donna, since we made Aliyah in 1992. My ministry has been focused on teaching the Church about its Jewish roots which has been the subject of the seven books I have written since 1999.
What was your motivation behind this project? There is a little known extreme persecution of Messianic Jews in Israel by our own government that seeks in every way to deny us Israeli citizenship and to keep Jewish believers out of the country. My purpose in writing this book was to educate the worldwide Church to this religious discrimination and to eventually see a change to Israel immigration law and policy that will welcome all ethnic Jews as citizens of Israel with no consideration to their religion.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? An in depth understanding of a serious but little known problem of religious discrimination against Jewish believers that has existed since the first century and persists today. I also trust that the reader will be blessed and entertained by what Pat Boone has called the non fiction narrative as "gripping, a first class novel."
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I have committed my life to seeking the necessary changes that will allow all Jews to become citizens of Israel in accordance with God's clear call to this effect as it is repeatedly recorded in the Bible.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My principal inspiration flows from the Holy Spirit. I often feel more like a scribe than an author. In the world I have greatly been influenced by Steinbeck and Hemingway
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I urge all of my readers to pray for the survival of Israel in these very troubled times and for the soon second coming of our Lord.
