This readable, humble work is a helpful resource on this difficult doctrine. It is balanced, biblical, and clear. Thankful that 9Marks is willing to publish on tough truths.

This is not a good book. Do not waste your time or get it for a friend. The author insists it is biblical but it is not. The author also insists that people either go to heaven or hell. There is no mention of the biblical narrative or Old Testament views. This is a very narrow understanding of a topic with many different views historically. Beware of 9Marks in general. Most of their controversial doctrine is built on Deism Epicureanism Platonic Dualism and not the Judeo Christian worldview in the Bible.
