Introduction to Composition Student Guide, Third Edition

The Memoria Press Introduction to Composition course is an introductory composition course that focuses on narration, outlining, dictation, and copywork. Lessons use modeling through formulating and editing sentences together with the teacher acting as the primary editor. Lessons include a note on what reading passage should be read (taken from classic literature - not included), guided questions to read before reading the passage in the book, a three-sentence outline exercise , a student summary, and dictation exercises. 38 lessons; covers one year. Grades 3 & up. 3rd Edition.

Please note that this course uses literature from Charlotte's Web, Farmer Boy, A Bear Called Paddington, Mr. Popper's Penguins, and The Moffats, which will need to be obtained separately.
