BROTHER PATRICK HART, a monk of Gethsemani and general editor of the journals was Thomas Mertons last secretary. He edited Run to the Mountain: The Story of a Vocation, Vol. 1, and The Other Side of the Mountain: The End of the Journey, Vol. 7.
JONATHAN MONTALDO is general editor of the "Fons Vitae" Thomas Merton Series. He was the director of the Thomas Merton Center (the official archive of Mertons legacy at Bellarmine University) from 1998-2001 and has served as president of the International Thomas Merton Society. He edited Entering the Silence: Becoming a Monk and Writer, Vol. 2, and Dialogues with Silence: Prayers & Drawings.
