Students will be introduced to the basics of propositional arguments; how to determine the validity of propositional arguments; how to write formal proofs; how to use the technique of "truth trees" to determine consistency, self-contradiction, tautology, equivalence, and validity; how to apply such tools to arguments found in real life; and digital logic.
