Tell us a little about yourself. Vinnie Carafano lives in El Paso, Texas, with his wife, Jodie, and their four children. He was the youth pastor of a large nondenominational church for fourteen years until God called him and his family into Youth With A Mission and Kings Kids in 1993. The Carafanos currently serve as directors of the local Kings Kids base, and their ministry travels have taken them to Russia, China, India, Taiwan, the Philippines, Korea, Thailand, Ethiopia, Paraguay, Ecuador, Panama, Nicaragua, Mexico, Canada, Haiti, St. Croix, Barbados, Grenada, Jamaica, Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq and around the United States.
What was your motivation behind this project? Vinnies lifetime commitment is to see young people come into a living relationship with Jesus Christ and affect the world around them.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Solid Bible knowledge and growth in their walk with the Lord.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: This book is designed for teenagers and college students who are hungry to know the Lord and His Word more! It's a 12 week, mentorship based intensive study of character issues and living a Godly life, including how to read the Bible, developing your prayer life, holiness, victory over sin, humility, servanthood, surrender to Jesus' Lordship, faith and being an example to others. The book includes a guide to daily Bible reading, memory verses, mission emphasis and challenging teaching. It's in use around the world in youth groups and as a homeschool resource, and was developed based on my 30 years in youth ministry and mission work with youth in 20+ nations. I hope it's a blessing and source of strengthening your walk with the Lord!
