I had read Plain and Fancy by this author and loved it. This book(s)however I couldn't finish reading. The characters all needed smacked and I found them to be very unlikeable. It was a good price for the book though.
The setting just didn't feel Amish to me, I gave the book to a friend of mine I don't know if she's gonna like it as she's a big Beverly Lewis fan like myself. This book just read like a bad soap opera. :(
