This Atlas is absolutely beautiful with colorful images and it's so informative! I love having an Atlas with a Christian worldview for my kids. This will be a book that our family will treasure and keep long after we're done homeschooling!

I love both the illustrations and the information packed into this atlas. Not only do you learn where places are, but you will also learn interesting facts about cultures and people. It is especially wonderful that it is from a biblical worldview, so everything points to God as the creator. This is a must for any family library in my opinion.

We are so excited to be adding the Indescribable Atlas Adventures to our homeschool shelves! This beautiful new book is jam-packed with tons of educational content and delivered in a highly-engaging, interactive way for kids. Kids will spend hours devouring this book and return to it time and again as they learn about the unique countries and various cultures around the world while exploring history, foods, religions, geography and biology!

I enjoyed that the information is presented in short blurbs making the fun facts and information easy to comprehend, even for the most energetic child (such as mine). We used it as a read-aloud and while my first-grader played, I read the facts which often prompted her to come look over my shoulder at the pictures and point to new facts which she would then request I read to her.

The illustrations are colorful, eye-catching and fun to look at. The size of the book is large and it is well bound, with sturdy, thick pages that I believe will withstand the test of time.

Perhaps my favorite feature of this atlas is the way it spurs further in-depth study, using all the information facts as a jumping-off point. There are also wonderful little blurbs on each spread that ask kids and readers thoughtful questions about their own thoughts, experiences and feelings. Then, using Scripture, the authors give kids a gentle prompt that will deepen their faith while inspiring and encouraging their young hearts.

Lastly, another notable part we enjoyed are the language notes that offer kids a chance to learn about words and fun phrases they can practice saying in other languages!

This is a valuable school and homeschool resource. It would also make a fantastic gift for any curious child who loves to explore. Lastly, it pairs well with the other Indescribable series of books for kids.

    * I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary advanced reader copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts are my own and I was not required to write a positive review.

This book is oversized in not only appearance but also in content! Indescribable Atlas Adventures is a beautiful hardback book that's filled with colorful maps, fun illustrations, intriguing facts, and a wealth of trivia about the countries and cultures that make up our world. It is a wonderful introduction to geography, but author Lou Giglio doesn't stop there. He reminds all of us that faith and science should never be considered two separate things because each country or region in our world is "remarkable and one-of-a-kind" because of God's handiwork. Seven continents, the oceans surrounding them, and all of the inhabitants are unique through God's creation!

This book targets children ages 5-10 but I was also intrigued with some of the facts and trivia that are shared. Indescribable Atlas Adventures is a wonderful addition to home libraries and a valuable resource for parents who are homeschooling their children. It is also perfect for gift-giving!

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via FrontGate Media. There was no obligation for a positive review.

I really look forward to each of the "Indescribable" children's books written by or under the guidance of Louie Giglio. They provide an entertaining resource for children's educational pursuits. They don't have to meld with a particular curriculum. They are simply books from which children delight to read and learn. They are on-topic resources that are dependable for articulating researched information.

In the Indescribable Atlas Adventures: An Explorer's Guide to..... readers will explore the continents and the countries. They will learn historical, geographic, and ecological information. Parents should realize that this is not an in depth atlas. It is a children's book intended to introduce and educate the young mind. It is delightfully attractive, beautifully colored, insightful, educational, factual. The book is large but not too large or heavy for a young child to handle. It isn't a toddler's book though kindergartners through about fifth graders will benefit from it.

As an atlas it does not show specific areas such as mountain ranges, capitals, rivers, etc. It is generalized and provides short factoids about the pictured area and/or components. Being a faith-based publication, it shares short encouragements toward faith as well as pointing out historic Biblical events or persons when appropriate. Generally speaking, this is a "soft-atlas" that introduces children to the world and is faith-based in intention.

I highly recommend this and other works from Tommy Nelson publications in the "Indescribable Kids" line of books.

I received a complimentary copy to facilitate a review. Opinions are my own and are freely given.
