Tell us a little about yourself. After working at a job that took me out of state for months at a time, I'm blessed to be retired and able to attend my home church weekly. I'm living in the same state as my children and grandchildren. God's work and family are my main focus.
What was your motivation behind this project? This book is part of God's work. The Lord did a miraculous thing in healing my husband of cancer. I was given the awesome blessing of more time with him. When the Holy Spirit prompted Michael (my husband) to write about the trials and triumphs we have endured, this became my project too.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Where there is God, there is hope. Within our story, I hope readers will catch a glimpse of how close the Holy Spirit is to all of us, how powerful prayer is and how merciful, loving and generous is our God.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? When we were going through Michael's medical crisis, we were too immersed to see clearly what the Lord was doing. We were simply clinging to His arms to stay afloat. In writing and preparing the book for publication, my eyes were opened to just how much the Spirit was at work in everything that was happening to us.
