What really makes a house a home? Frequent laughter? Peaceful music on the stereo? The smell of supper cooking? Wolgemuth believes all these things are fine-but what's truly essential is God's grace. Learn to build your house on the Rock of Christ-and make it a place of light and hope in a dark world.
At the back of the book, you will find Appendix A (How to Lead Your Child to Christ), Appendix B (Grace Wolgemuth's 26 Bible Verses), Notes (for each chapter), and Questions for Discussion and Application (for each chapter).

It all starts at home.
Newly revised and updated, The Most Important Place on Earth is Robert Wolgemuths inspiring and practical book for those looking for a strong foundation for their home. So whats so great about a Christian home? There you will find redemption, forgiveness, hope, laughter, and genuine happiness. There you will also find discipline, purpose, and grace. Lots of grace.
Many people did not grow up in a Christian home, and many more do not consider their childhood experience a good model. The Most Important Place on Earth covers eight answers to the question, "What does a Christian home look like?" It is filled with stories and useful ideas that will convince any reader that a Christian home is not an elusive stereotype. It is something that really can be achieved. And it is something worth having. Youll see.
In August of 1996, Robert released his first book, She Calls Me Daddy: Seven Things Every Man Needs to Know about Building a Complete Daughter. The book became a bestseller. He is also the author of many other titles including The Most Important Place on Earth: What a Christian Home Looks Like and How to Build One; Seven Things You Better Have Nailed Down before All Hell Breaks Loose and the sequel to his first book, She Still Calls Me Daddy: Building a New Relationship with Your Daughter after You Walk Her Down the Aisle. He has also co-written The Most Important Year in a Mans Life: What Every Groom Needs to Know with Mark DeVries, and Whats in the Bible with Dr. RC Sproul. His speaking assignments have taken him across America and through several foreign countries. Robert Wolgemuth has served two terms as the Chairman of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association. As a layman, he has taught adult Sunday school classes since 1969 in Texas, Tennessee and Florida. A 1969 graduate of Taylor University, he received an honorary doctorate in 2005. Robert, a widower, is the father of two adult daughters and five grandchildren. In the fall of 2015, Robert married Nancy Leigh DeMoss.
