Tell us a little about yourself. I have been a student of the Bible for the last 27 years. I served as full time minister for almost four (4) years. I graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Psychology. I am also a certified elementary and middle school Science teacher.
What was your motivation behind this project? Immanuel's Bride and the Holy Spirit: Building a Whole New World is a work based on my intense Bible study and my observations of human nature. I sought to look at God's nature versus man's nature. I wanted to look at the simplicity of God's plan versus the complications of man's affinity to religion.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope that my readers will have a sigh of relief as they read the book. I hope they say, "Wow, so all God wants is for us to trust and honor Him and have an intimate relationship with Him." I hope my readers see that the more they get in tuned with God through His Holy Spirit, the more they will accomplish AMAZING things for God. I want to see God's power unleashed in every Christian! Jesus is the Groom, the Church is the Bride. This is about a special relationship that God has been investing in since the beginning of time. It is not about rules, rituals and systems.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Through working with this project, I have become convinced that I have to grow in my faith in God. I must focus on the unseen and not the seen, or the obvious. I must walk by faith and not by sight. I also have learned that there is a huge value and advantage that I have as a Christian when I practice becoming less, so that Jesus could become greater in me.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I would like my readers to look at the "big picture." Immanuel's Bride and the Holy Spirit: Building a Whole New World is about the BIG PICTURE! Every Christian must make his or her life about God's desires and not about man or religion.
