This is such a wonderful story with a great lesson for children (adults too). The colors are vibrant and eye-catching. Each page gives a child a chance to find the hidden Bible as they read.

Susie the shark and Rachel the octopus go to the underwater amusement park. Rachel wants to ride a very high roller coaster but Susie is afraid. She keeps making excuses to do other activities. When Susie calls her mother she is told that it's Ok to be afraid, we all are at some time or another, but to pray and give her fears to Jesus. That makes all the difference in the world to Susie.

This is such a great, easy to understand lesson for children to grasp and use early in life. The beautiful color illustrations add to the whole element.

I received this book from the publisher and was not required to write a review, positive or otherwise.

This is a book that teaches young children about faith as they share an adventure with Susie the shark and Rachel the octopus. These two friends have gone to the Undersea Amusement Park and Rachel is eager to ride the Whale Back Roller Coaster. Susie is not so eager because she is scared so she makes excuses. She is hungry, she wants to play games, and finally, she tells Rachel that she needs to call her Mom. Susie's mom tells her it is okay to be afraid and when you are, you just need to pray to Jesus for help. Susie does this and after riding the ride, she is eager to ride it again and again.

Children learning about prayer and trusting in Jesus is the concept of this book and there are also Christian symbols scattered throughout the pages for them to find.

My two year old granddaughter enjoys looking at the colorful pages as I read this to her and I recommend this book highly.

I received a free copy of this book from bookfun. org for my honest review.

I'm Not Afraid, written by Lee Ann Mancini, is a delightful book! It is part of The Adventures of the Sea Kids series, but can be read as a stand-alone book. The illustrations caught my attention immediately. They are engaging, eye-catching and fun to see. This story introduces readers to best friends Susie and Rachel. They are spending the day at the amusement park and plan to ride the Whale-Back Roller Coaster. Susie is afraid and makes every excuse not to ride the coaster. When she calls her mom to tell her that she's afraid and doesn't know what to do, her mom tells her to pray and ask Jesus to help her not be afraid. Susie does exactly that and Jesus helps her get over her fear of riding the coaster. This book will help children understand how easy it is to trust Jesus and pray for His help when they are afraid. I highly recommend it and give it a 5 star rating. I received a copy from the author and The Book Club Network in exchange for my honest review.

This is the third book in the Sea Kid Adventures series. I just love this series. I work in a child care center and share these stories with the pre-school children. They love the colorful pictures and the hidden-picture-searches. Each of the books in this series has a Christian theme. The theme in the book was that when you're afraid, you can ask Jesus and He will help you - no need to be afraid any more. He is your best friend and is with you always. I received this book for free from the Book Club Network and the author in exchange for my honest review.

This is the third in a series of children's books. I'm not Afraid is the story of two friends spending the day at an amusement park. Susie Shark says she's not afraid of the roller coaster, but keeps putting off taking a ride. This is a great story to remind us it is okay to be scared and that we can pray for courage. My boys, ages 8 and 6, and I have really enjoyed reading this together. And the illustrations are so beautifully done.

I received a copy of this book from the Publisher in exchange for my honest review which I have given.
