In this small but powerful book on prayer, Chambers reveals the key problem with the way many of us pray today. That is, we focus our prayers on ourselves instead of on God. The purpose of prayer is not to get healed, get a job, get our house sold, or whatever else we want. It is to get "the life of God in us."

Lawrence Crosson5 Stars Out Of 5July 10, 2010Lawrence CrossonPossibly the best book I have ever read on the subject of prayer. I learned of it when I found it on the "recommended reading" list published by Dr. Henry Blackaby, author of "Experiencing God," on the Blackaby Ministries International website. My recommendation: Read it. You'll be glad you did!
