I, too, loved this book. Jerry Jenkins has created a story that pulls you back and forth from the time of Saul's last days in prison to the intrigue surrounding a present-day professor. His interpretation of what Saul could have endured was gripping, as was the story surrounding the professor. Surprisingly the two story lines came together well. I found it difficult to put the book down. For those wanting to read the sequel to this story, I discovered "I Paul" has been re-titled "Empire's End".
I bought this book for my husband's birthday and that is in November so he hasn't read it yet. But he just finished reading the Chronicles series( Matthew, Mark, Luke, John ) and loved each one. He enjoys the writings of Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye a lot. This book will be another good one I'm sure.
This book was easily purchased at an excellent price.
