I was expecting a list of reasons why I love you, but it's actually a story. It jumps around a little bit, but the rhyming and pictures kept my sons attention quite well. I liked that there was a bible verse corresponding to each page. I also loved that the bear siblings were all different and the book mentioned how special each of them were in their own little way. I realize that the authors wrote it for their interracial family, but it easily translates into showing the uniqueness of each child
sandra5 Stars Out Of 5I love you just becauseJune 9, 2016sandraQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5A wonderful book about a multicolored bear family! I believe that Donna Keith has an amazing talent for interpreting God and his love in a way that is easy for kids to understand without ever talking down to them and giving new insight to their parents as well. But what captured me more than anything was Alison's pictures; so adorable. This is a story about three different bear cubs living together. The author points us to the fact that God choses what family one is a pat of. Follow the bear cubs as they sweetly interact with each other and their parents. On every other page is a Bible verse to do with children. This book is all about affirming that parents love their children no matter what not because they o anything special.
A great board book for families in general, or adopted ones
