My husband grew up in an abusive father home and finally in 2000 gave his life to God and learned to forgive and overcome his past. Bart found God at an earlier stage but still had to struggle wirh past issues. His truth will inspire many as it did me and i shared his story with my husband who felt that same pain but let God take over with grace and mercy. Awesome read.

Having been through some of the abuse Bart Millard went through, it was both encouraging and uplifting to know that something good can come from something so bad. Our God is Awesome.

This is the story of how Bart Millard wrote the hit song, "I can only Imagine" and now a major motion picture. It is about forgiveness and how GOD gives us the grace to accept everyone. Bart tells of his childhood or abuse and poverty. He gives us a deep look into how he wrote "I can only Imagine" about him, his dad and how GOD worked in their lives. I love the comment of when Bart says how long it took him to write the song and hears back, "Bart, this song took you your whole life to write"

This book is for everyone to read and enjoy how the grace of GOD knows the work HE is doing and how we have to keep the faith and trust in GOD to get us through it all... Buy this book and see the movie, you will not regret it.
