Author/Artist Review

Author: David H. Walters

Tell us a little about yourself.  I am a family man with 4 children, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. My wife and I have been married for over 50 years. I spent 7 years in the USAF and 40 years in Metrology. God has been good to me.

What was your motivation behind this project?  My daughter Becky asked me to write a book about some of the stories I would tell them when they were young. I wanted to write a book that was "family" and yet would keep the attention of those that like some of the technical details.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope people will be entertained in a family environment and still learn some technical concepts that they may not have thought about. Above all, that many times God works behind the visible.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  It brought me closer to my family as I was happy to share the progress of each new chapter, and every new challenge in the publishing process.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  I have been blessed to be brought up in a time that one could explore the hidden things of God in nature without all the cares of a world in complete confusion. Christian country music keeps me going.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I have written another book for teens, Professor & Robin which is family friendly and provides the unexpected. Although this book, Hustler Unwanted" is fiction, I wonder what God does do to keep this world from completely destroying itself.
