- resources that offer help for the helper
A study guide at the end of the book makes this a perfect tool for individual or small group use.
Melanie Chitwood is a writer, teacher, and speaker whose passion is to point women to Jesus Christ and His Word. She lives in North Carolina with her husband, Scott, and their two sons.
"If you've ever wished you could peek inside the secret desires of your husband...now is your chance. Melanie has clearly illustrated what every husband wishes his wife knew. The only regret you'll have in reading this book is that you didn't read it earlier in your marriage."
—Lysa TerKeurst, author and President of Proverbs 31 Ministries
"In What a Husband Needs from His Wife, author Melanie Chitwood wraps the timeless biblical principals of marriage with humor and transparency and then delivers their powerful message that the rest of your marriage can be the best part of your marriage. Instead of sidestepping tough and often painful marital issues, Melanie openly shares her own struggles and victories. She draws on the wisdom of couples who have successfully dealt with those issues and, as a result, now experience the kind of marriage relationship God intends. This book is helpful, applicable, encouraging, and a breath of fresh air! I highly recommend it!"
—Mary Southerland, speaker, author, and director of Journey Ministry, Inc.

One of the biggest things that it starts out with is our (women) relationships with God. Making that the most important thing and everything else following suit. If more women were reading this book, I believe we would have a lot more happier husbands, and a lot less divorce going on in the world. It really opened my heart to new and better ideas and I pray that I can be the wife God wants me to be.
Rhonda5 Stars Out Of 5May 29, 2010RhondaThis is a great book... full of wonderful insight and advice. I know that I will definitely have to read this a number of times to reinforce all that was said; easy to read... tougher to put into practice. Godly advice for women who want to live for God...Worth the investment!
Min. S. Freeman4 Stars Out Of 5May 7, 2009Min. S. FreemanThis is a great book.I enjoyed it so much that I actually encouraged a bunch of the ladies from my husband's church and I to read it together. It truly makes you take serious introspection of yourself and your responsibility as a wife. It's a very easy read.I would encourage persons who are already married, those who are engaged and those who want to be married to seriously read it and ask God to let it minister to you.
Christa Horst5 Stars Out Of 5April 15, 2008Christa HorstI recommend this book to any female married or not. This book is amazing...if you are looking to find what God wants from you as a wife then this is the book you want. I am even doing a women's study group on this book! With the worldly impression on marriage today I feel it is very important to share the word of God! I hope that you enjoy the book as much as I did.
