We were looking for an interesting, informative and doctrinely sound Bible study for Wednesday's - this is wonderful. This is rich with information and very engaging. Our entire group is enjoying the presentation from the Bible scholars to the novices.

As a student of apoligetics there was not much new material in this for me, but I ordered it to share with a group from church. They are finding it informative and very interesting! It was designed for people who love the Lord and believe the Bible but have no idea of how to respond to critics in a logical manner. This a great tool for preparing my folks to cause critics to question their adversarial cliches. I am also hoping it will spur interest in other areas of apologetics. Thanks for a good resource.

This study reveals the long process used to preserve the contents of our Bible through the centuries. From memorized (oral) history as seen by eye witnesses to events which happened during the life of Jesus Christ to written written word decades after His crucifixion, and translations from several languages many centuries later. The study is informative, valuable and entertaining for people who question the origins of the Bible and for those interested in Christian history. While this study is aimed primarily at adults, those in the middle through late teen years might also find the material of interest.

Note that I was given free access to promotional materials and an excerpt of this six session video study by the publisher for the purpose of this review.

Has it ever struck you -- when passing the inevitable headline on a checkout counter magazine -- that, in fact, you don't have an immediate answer to the suppositions about the Biblical canon, and what THEY (??) are hiding from you -- mainly because, other than knowing the names of men such as Wycliffe and Tyndale, you are not all that familiar with the story of how the Bible was brought to us, over time. Problem is, so many of the ways to acquire this knowledge involve reading a several volume tome -- and this might not be the priority for your biblical studies right now. Fret no more! This six-DVD study is simple enough yet detailed enough to inform you on this topic, so that, next time someone informs you of some popular but misled beliefs about the Word of God, you will not only have an answer, but, perhaps, some interesting info for them, as well. Great format, also, by the way! Good from teenage onward. Rose Publishing forwarded a free excerpt for my candid review.
