I am very happy with this purchase. I am not artsy but my husband is and he loves it too. I am the one using it to teach our children and the projects are simple and easy. More difficult projects are included and some art history as well. Basic art supplies needed for most projects. I have also easily adapted this to meet the needs of our small coop for weekly art lessons.

This book is a great resource and guide to teach step by step through projects the elements of art. I found it very useful and my son has enjoyed it and looks forward to art time.

I have 2 daughters that love art, so I wanted to incorporate art instruction in our school day. We do lots of cutting and pasting already, and I wanted to teach something a little more technical. This book does that! It is simple to use, fun for the kids and due to the range of grades, I can use again in the future!
