Tiff4 Stars Out Of 5InformativeMarch 15, 2011TiffQuality: 4Value: 3Meets Expectations: 3The book wasn't bad. It introduced to you all the logical ways of listening to God, however, it didn't quite meet my expectations of exactly how you go about it. I think the mere fact that the author (a very good one) has had decades of fellowship with our Lord has made him forget what its like to be a new christian and that its a bit more of a struggle. New christians need instructions and aide at their level. I had already been doing many of those examples and the advice I received was to be patient and wait on the Lord. Our experiences with trusting in Jesus through our trials and practicing the instructions in the book will bring us into fellowship with God. But it will take time. Its not an overnight success. The book is good but sort of leaves you with this feeling of its really easy and in no time you'll hear from God. God is already talking to us, we have to learn to tune our ears to Him. Not a quick an easy feat. Use the book as a teaching tool for a lifetime of fellowship. Don't be dismayed if you don't hear God right away. You will.
