Tell us a little about yourself. I am a Persian-American author residing in southern California; and currently working on a screenplay.
What was your motivation behind this project? I was inspired to share my story with the world after my baptism a decade ago.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Faith, and more faith in themselves and God.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Since the book is an autobiography, it brought back many sad and painful memories. However, I knew it had a happy ending so I did not dwell on those feelings.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My top 11 favorites on all of the above: St. Pope John Paul II, Vince Lombardi, Donald Trump, Rhonda Byrne, Neale Donald Walsch, Marx Brothers, Johnny Carson, Jerry Seinfeld, James Cameron, Al Pacino, and Jim Carrey.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Yes, please. My most important experience (and advice) is having an unwavering faith in God. God's delay does not mean denial. Thank you.
