Steph5 Stars Out Of 5June 7, 2008StephI love this book! I read it in 2 days the first time and now I've almost finished it again. Can't wait for the movie. I just hope they don't screw it up and change the story alot. If they do a good job, it should be a great movie. :)
Kay5 Stars Out Of 5May 21, 2008KayThis book was great!!!!! I waited for a couple months to borrow this from my friend, and was so excited to read it! It actually took me a whole entire week to finish it, but that's because I'm a slow reader. My brother finished it in a day or 2. This book freaked me out. It was sooo scary. But in a good way.
Jayne Nagy2 Stars Out Of 5March 22, 2008Jayne NagyThis is my first time reading a Dekker/Peretti book and I was terribly disappointed. The story rambled, was disjointed and at the end, left a LOT to be desired with a lackluster closing that was vague at best.
J. Wallace1 Stars Out Of 5January 14, 2008J. WallaceBoy, was I disappointed. House was a poorly written story with a meandering plot which, like the characters, continually went in circles. I kept waiting for the story to come together, and, unlike previous stories from Dekker and Peretti, it never did.
Jesse5 Stars Out Of 5January 11, 2008JesseWow, this book is good. I read this present darkness by Frank Peretti and enjoyed it. I read Black By Ted Dekker and I enjoyed it. But seeing them both write a book together is the greatest. One of the things in this book that got me was that the killer expected the people to kill each other. The people thought this was savage and terrible. Later it is pointed out that people kill each other every day. With words. The common insult thrown out with a second thought. Another theme apparent toward the end of the book is the good Vs. evil. Good book. Not recommended to anyone with bladder problems.
