Spelling and Vocabulary 2 is designed around a weekly schedule with a variety of practice formats. A 160-page student worktext, teachers handbook and spelling/vocabulary dictionary are included in this three-part kit. Lessons were created with built-in flexibility that allows teachers to add words to the weekly lists and to alter the specifications for the writing assignments, tailoring the material to individual student needs.
The student worktext has word-box exercises that include filling in the correct word, matching and editing skills; word lists include room for the initial "words of the week", corrections and more practice. Student worktext is 181 pages, softcover.

The Spelling and Vocabulary Dictionary is filled with the words that kids will use in this course; uncluttered pages help make the process of looking up words easier for little ones, and illustrations provide some visual interest.
