Horizons Phonics and Reading is a program for kindergarten students that begins to comprehensively develop the reading skills your child may have acquired in preschool. This phonics-based word recognition and early reading program, an alternative to the kindergarten Lifepac curriculum, uses brightly illustrated readers to teach the alphabet and letter sounds, reading, spelling, rhyming, sequence and elementary parts of speech.
