Stacy2469MIAge: 25-34Gender: female1 Stars Out Of 5August 8, 2010Stacy2469MIAge: 25-34Gender: femaleI did not like this. I went from excited to disappointment fast. The workbook is all I bought thinking that, since it didn't say, we did not need the teacher book to go with it. Then I just looked at the teacher book, and it is set up for a classroom, and not exactly set up to teach 1-2 kids. Can I get my money back?
Tina1 Stars Out Of 5September 27, 2008TinaI am really disappointed with this book. I thought that it would be more like the Lifepac series by Alpha Omega, but it's not. The teacher's guide gives you suggestions on how to teach the lessons, but no real guidance. The student workbook does not have pages to go with each lesson, just random work whenever. I was extremely shocked when I discovered in Unit 2, Lesson 2 that I was supposed to discuss literal sexual details! For a 2nd grader? That's just too much, too soon. I was expecting much more, and am walking away totally dissatisfied.I would NOT recommend this series to anyone who wants to really teach their child about health and how to take care of themselves and their bodies.
