I first saw this book when looking on a reviewer site and it instantly caught my eye and grabbed my heart. So often, I feel like a weary mom. Motherhood can be so hard sometimes and there are seasons that are more weary than others. As I read this book I did find hope and reminders of who I can be as a mom and that I'm not alone. This book also came at the perfect time not only to meet my own needs and questions but I was searching for what would be the subject of our next mom's Bible Study. As I read this book I new I'd found it. This was absolutely the message I wanted to share with other mothers.

I agree with Brookes point that there is a shortage of godly men in our world. As a weary mom who is deep in the trenches for the heart of my 14 year old son, Hope for the Weary Mom: Let God Meet You in Your Mess is living water for my weary soul as I seek to bring up our son in the truths of God and in love for others like Jesus gave to us. My own daughter is now grown, married, and expecting her first child - a boy! I continue to pray over her as well to continue to build on the godly foundation that we as her parents have laid - the spiritual battle for her heart is still real - even if she is an adult now. I encourage other weary moms to join me, Brooke, Stacey, and thousands of other weary moms who have let God meet them in their mess as we fight the spiritual battle for the hearts of our boys and our girls. It is only when we invite God in that we can find the hope we need in this journey of motherhood as we connect our hearts with His. Weary moms unite together in the pages of Hope for the Weary Mom and know that you are not alone!
