Sensitive, hopeful, helpful information packaged with compassion in a beautiful book. I recommend Hope for Families of Children with Cancer to those experiencing the paralyzing diagnosis. This book belongs in every hospital, public, and church library!

As a registered nurse and a mother of a son who became deathly ill, I can identify with the emotional roller-coaster parents experience with a child's unexpected and grave diagnosis. Lynda Young and Chaplain Ward gently and compassionately guide the reader through the labyrinth of unfamiliar terms, treatments, and trials as they address the frequently asked question, "What do I do now?" This book is packed with real-life situations, practical helps, nuggets of humor, and comforting spiritual encouragement. It is a helpful, beautiful, uplifting book I highly recommend. It would also be a thoughtful gift to give.
