This Step 2 Step into Reading Science Reader teaches kids how honeybees make honey, build their hives, and . . . dance! Buzz-worthy facts will cross-pollinate beautifully with classroom learning. This reissued edition includes a new authors note about Colony Collapse Disorder, the phenomenon threatening the honeybee population today.
Step 2 Readers use basic vocabulary and short sentences to tell simple stories. These books are for children who recognize familiar words and can sound out new words with help.
