In Holiness, Truth, and the Presence of God, Francis Frangipane takes you on a journey toward true holiness that leads you into the presence of God. It is a path full of life and death, perils and blessings. It is a path upon which you will be challenged, empowered, and provoked. But you will not be disappointed.
Like the teachings of Jesus, this book strikes hard at pride and self-righteousness. The author's warm, compassionate style draws you in and helps you to recognize how desperately we all need to be more like Christ. Discover the keys to...
- A more intimate relationship with God
- A deeper, more meaningful walk in your faith
- Your hope in Christ rekindled afresh

papajohn5 Stars Out Of 5as deep as you want to go !April 3, 2014papajohnQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have read this book and re read it now for over the past 8 years. It has been a constant source of encouragement and knowledge into the higher and deeper things of GOD. It is not a book to be read like a novel, but come expecting to hear from the Heart of FATHER. There are nuggets to be found in every chapter. To the person that wrote ," falls flat",
you have found the bones, but missed the meat. Francis Frangipane is one of the few Christian writers, that truly has seen both the face of DADDY and has heard his heart. His books have always challenged me to press on to the high calling that we have in JESUS. ( just saying)
Philip TuttSacramento, CAAge: Over 65Gender: male2 Stars Out Of 5Falls FlatJanuary 23, 2014Philip TuttSacramento, CAAge: Over 65Gender: maleQuality: 2Value: 2Meets Expectations: 2This book is by an obviously talented evangelical minister, who, for some reason, seems to have very little confidence in his own insights. The book begins promisingly enough, with the observation "true holiness does not come from following rules; it comes from following Christ." As a committed follower of Jesus, I could not agree more. What I expected from the book, however, did not happen. That sort of inspirational concept, which receives some development by the author, is confined largely to the capsule introductions at the beginning of each chapter, these when stated in the author's own words. The main body of the book, however, is irritatingly stuffed with proof texts. Someone who is capable of a compelling expression of the Holy Spirit, such as I believe the author to be, does not require, and need not resort to, quotes from Scripture and the troweling in of ideas which distract from major points. Just as one of many examples, the author says: "We may have ideas, we may possess fairly accurate scriptural knowledge, we may have had visions and dreams, but everything we think we know is but straw compared to the actual reality of the presence of God." (Ch. 14). Fine; the implication is that neither Scripture nor personal insight can ever hope to capture the reality of God. So, what result? At the very least, humility and, ultimately, full trust in Jesus must guide us. But the author, instead of stopping here, goes on: "The Lord is bigger, more wonderful, more powerful that the sum of everyone's knowledge about him [you just said that, and far more eloquently than this redundant restatement]. He is God and 'He does whatever He pleases' (Psalm 115:3)" [completely off-point, and effectively buries the insight in the first part of the statement; my brackets]. I spent a lot of time searching for the flowers among the weeds. There are a few, and they are inherently worth discovering. The undertaking will, however, tax even a patient reader.
JonikaAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Penetrating!January 12, 2012JonikaAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is one of the best books I've ever read, hands down. It confronts the reality of your heart, drawing you to the threshing floor of repentance and transformation. I found myself brought to my knees many times, crying out to the LORD in repentance, while other times, I found myself crying and laughing tears of joy at the immensity and intensity of God's love for His Bride. Francis Frangipane did an awesome job at exposing the lie of religion, and the truth of Christ and His Kingdom. This is one of those heavily-enriching truths that must be read more than once to really take root. This is a good read for the new convert AND the person who's been saved their whole lives'. I highly recommend this book to anyone who truly wants God and His heart and will in your life. God bless~
