Interesting book. It brings a subject that "holiness groups" have made very nebulous and emotional down to layman's terms. His idea of whether a person can lose salvation is kind of shaky though. I purchased about ten of the first or second edition copies for teaching purposes, then as I re-read them, found they had a number of spelling and grammatical errors. I had discussed this with another person who had read it and actually called the author. He later realized the author had mocked him during the conversation using veiled words....telling him he'd wanted him to review some of his future materials before they went to the editor....as if to say, "who do you think you are criticizing?" I saw pride written all over his description of the conversation with the author. I really wonder how long and how many churches he was a pastor. His writing style seems to be more from a corporate leader's/college professor perspective rather than the perspective of a seasoned, experienced multiple-church pastor. This review is written by a lay-person who reads books like his.
